A twenty-seven year Law Enforcement Professional experienced in all divisions of the Beauregard Sheriff’s Department, including Corrections, Patrol, Investigations, Narcotics, SWAT, and Administration

Served for 15 years as the Chief Detective for the Beauregard Sheriff’s Office under two administrations

Louisiana Peace Officer Standards and Training Council instructor in Firearms

Louisiana Peace Officer Standards and Training Council instructor in Corrections

Worked for the Monroe Police Department for nearly five years as a Patrol Officer, member of the Jump Team (a street level criminal interdiction team), a Field Training Officer in the Patrol Division, and finally a Detective with the Metro Narcotics Unit (a multi-agency drug task force specifically targeting upper level drug dealers).
